Participate in our auctions through our secure online platform, absentee bid, live phone bidding, and sometimes live in-person.

At Dexter City Auction, we ensure a smooth and confident buying experience:

1. Registration:

Secure online registration requires a $100 card check to verify your information.
This hold is temporary and will be released immediately.

2. Bidding:

All online bidding will incur an additional 20% buyer’s premium.
Bid online, in person at our live auctions, or leave absentee/phone bids (see Buyer’s Premium section).
You will have 7 days prior to the auction's end date to place your bids online.
Lots begin closing on the end date, typically starting at noon, in 30 second intervals.

3. Post-Sale:

If you wish to schedule a pickup, you must contact us by noon the day after the sale. If we do not hear otherwise, shipping automatically begins, and you will be charged for any handling/supplies used.
Your card on file (used during registration) will be charged for your total invoice.

4. Shipping:

We professionally pack and ship your items for an additional handling and supply fee.
Shipping/handling fees will be charged to your card on file.
The packing, shipping, and arrival process can take up to 2 weeks.
We must be notified of any damage found within one week of delivery confirmation.
